Our internationally recognized faculty are recipients of over $10 million annually in extramural grant funding, we have close to 700 undergraduate majors and some 130 graduate students. We award annually over 400 Bachelor degrees and 30 Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees. This is a most exciting time for the University of Washington Psychology Department. We not only continue to follow a rich tradition of pioneering discoveries in a broad spectrum of psychological research and innovative instruction, but we also look forward to a bright future that incorporates new interdisciplinary visions. These interdisciplinary collaborations enhance our teaching potential as well as extend our effort to disseminate new knowledge and ideas to the public.
